Phil is our baritone, pianist, arranger and coach. He and his wife, Marlene, live in Terre Haute, Indiana. They have 2 married children, Mike and Julie, and two grandchildren. Phil has more than 4 decades of Gospel Music experience, including, not only playing the piano and singing, but just about every other facet of the Southern Gospel Music industry. He has been involved in publishing, promoting, composing, coaching, recording, teaching, as well as radio and television. He has performed as a member of 4 other quartets over the years and worked closely with several others. He has spent many years studying music and enjoys just about every kind, but Traditional Southern Gospel Male Quartet style is his favorite. Phil is happy to be associated with CVQ and its very talented members and believes strongly in its ministry. |
